The Narrow Way and the Many Roads
Jesus said, "Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and few find it." — Matthew 7 :13–14
Many believe they are walking with Christ because they belong to a church, follow a tradition, or bear a religious label. Yet Jesus warned that many will one day say to Him, "Lord, Lord," only to hear, "I never knew you" (Matthew 7 :21–23). The tragedy is not ignorance—but self-assurance without obedience.
Defined by Truth, Not Tradition
The narrow way is not defined by denomination, rituals, or the approval of men. It is defined by truth, repentance, and obedience to the voice of Christ. It begins where self dies—where we turn from sin and follow Him, even when it means walking alone.
"If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me." — Luke 9 :23
The Cost of Following
The world's religions offer comfort, crowds, and certainty—but Christ offers a cross. The narrow path is lonely, misunderstood, and costly. Yet it alone leads to life.
To walk it means to live as He lived—loving enemies, forgiving freely, denying ourselves, and obeying the Father's will. It is the path of those who have been crucified with Him (Galatians 2 :20), whose hearts burn for truth more than acceptance.
The Call to All
The call is the same for every soul:
"If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me." — Luke 9 :23
If you hear His voice today, do not harden your heart. Leave the crowd. Enter the narrow gate. Walk the road that leads to life.
